Matt was amazing from the first meeting until the end of the night with our reception. Very polite and professional and patient. We had a hard time picking our music for our formalities and switched the songs several times and Matt was okay with it and always reminded us that it was our day and that he wanted us to be satisfied with our selections and even helped guide us with some of the songs. As for his performance, the dance floor was packed the whole night. Matt mixed up the music so amazingly and hit every person in the room making it fun for the older people all the way down to children and it was really neat how he mixed from song to song while also engaging the crowd on the microphone and keeping it fun. Matt was also amazing with keeping things moving the whole night without skipping a beat and keeping us informed with everything that was going on. I would HIGHLY recommend his services if you are getting married if you want something special and different from the normal wedding dj cliche.

We had an amazing time at our wedding. The music was awesome and a great mix of everything that kept everyone happy. My friends and family kept telling me how awesome Matt was and how the dance floor was packed the entire night! Matt was super easy to work with and his set up looked and sounded great and my family and friends talked about our reception long after that night. Book this guy for your wedding, you will not regret it!

Matt was awesome and made everything so easy and stress free on our big day. Everyone kept telling us how much fun they had and we couldn't agree with them more! We would highly recommend Matt to anyone needing a dj for their wedding. Matt even ended up staying a little later then he was supposed to so some special songs that were requested got played. Amazing job!

We chose Matt for our wedding DJ, and we definitely made the right decision! When we first reached out, he was very responsive and was willing to accommodate our schedule for a meeting. From there, he was very helpful with song suggestions and even provided advice on day-of logistics. In terms of the music, Matt has an extensive collection spanning many genres. We gave him a list of some must-play songs and he took it from there; crafting a playlist to suit our tastes. One less things to worry about. On the day of, we simply connected Matt with the venue coordinator. He took over from there – coordinating his arrival, getting into the venue and equipment setup. It was definitely a weight off our shoulders. His set-up for the reception was replete with DJ booth and all manner of lights and lasers. Very dope! As the wedding started, we had very little interaction with Matt (in a good way). He asked a few times when we wanted to shift into different phases of the wedding, or go into our special songs/dances. Other than that, he was able to handle things on his own. My wife and I were more than a little bit out of it by the end of the night, so we didn’t stick around for the end of the festivities. However, Matt took care of breaking down his equipment and getting it out of the venue in a timely manner. Overall, Matt’s knowledge, experience and reliability were very valuable for our wedding planning. He made things easy for us on the day-of by requiring very little direction and keeping the right vibe going for the entire night. We would highly recommend him for your wedding DJ!

You need to book this guy for your wedding! Matt made the wedding an absolute blast and everyone cant stop talking about how much fun they all had. My wife and I were pretty simple and let Matt use his knowledge and creativity to guide the evening and he read the crowd perfect from song to song. He was also extremely professional and caring through the entire process. Don’t miss your opportunity and book him today!

Matt was such a pleasure to work with from the first time we spoke with him to the very end of our wedding reception. He is such great guy that kinda rubs off on you right when you meet him. He made things very simple for us and was very helpful and informative and had a lot of knowledge on not just music, but how a wedding reception is supposed to flow. Matt is a very entertaining Dj / MC and was so much fun to work with. All my family were saying the same thing and were so impressed with his dj skills and professionalism. Matt was extremely fair with his pricing and worked with us to get us what we wanted for our recepton. We would highly recommend Matt for your reception.

When my wife and I were planning for our wedding I was given two jobs only, get a suit and find a DJ. Having worked in the club scene of Columbus for a few years I have met many DJ's and have even become friends with a few. About 2 months out from our wedding date my wife and I decided to go with Matt Majik over all the rest. We had very few requests as far as dance music went but my wife especially wanted some classical/oldies music during dinner. The classics like Sinatra, Ella Fitgerald, Louis Armstrong, etc. Nobody wants to listen to hip hop or Katy Perry's greatest hits while trying to eat. When we told other DJ's we had previously talked with that was our dinner music preference a few of them laughed at us. One guy (who I've come to know as Katy Perry's greatest hits DJ) even told my wife she was wrong and that wasn't what people wanted! But when I started talking to Matt originally and discussing our wedding he was perfectly in tune with what we were thinking. He even suggested playing that type of music during dinner solely based off knowing my wife and I for a short time. That impressed me most! Matt Majik was a lot more reasonably priced than even the Katy Perry dinner DJ who wanted over DOUBLE what Matt charged and we still got all the bells and whistles. Matt Majik gave us a form to fill out pre-wedding asking for any song requests and the entrance music, as well as what music to use for groom and mom dance, my wife and her brother's dance, cake cutting music, etc. He had everything perfectly laid out and made it very easy for us to choose him over all the others. His dance music for the reception was up to date and perfect with what our group enjoyed and everyone had a blast! Since our wedding we've suggested Matt Majik to all our friends that are getting married and we will continue to do so! Professional, Timely, and overall the best DJ (be it wedding, club, or wherever) I've had the opportunity to work with in Columbus!!
