"Our DJ Adam was exceptional! We booked Adam through our photographer as a package deal and he was perfect for us! He put us at ease about the flow of the reception and was so professional and fun! We sat down with him and planned out our reception and timeline and it was perfect! He really knows how weddings work and gave us so many ideas for planning the evening. Everyone stayed on the dance floor and loved the music and dancing! Adam really knew how to judge the crowd and get everyone out of their seats and dancing. Our reception flowed perfectly with Adam! In a year that tested the resilience of Columbus' vibrant entertainment scene, the pulse of our city's nightlife was put to the ultimate test. For club and wedding DJs, whose craft thrives on igniting dance floors and sparking joy at social gatherings, the challenges of 2020 were especially daunting.
But amidst the trials emerged a beacon of hope, courtesy of our local radio powerhouse, 97.9 FM WNCI. On New Year's Eve, from the enchanting hours of 10 pm to 4 am, they orchestrated a euphoric revival. Eight of Columbus' finest DJs took to the airwaves, spinning their electrifying mixes live for a captivated audience.
This ingenious initiative couldn't have come at a more opportune moment. With Ohio's 10 PM curfew still in effect, many found themselves ushering in the new year from the comfort of their homes. Yet, thanks to WNCI's visionary programming, the spirit of celebration remained undiminished.
Among the chosen virtuosos were Adam, Matt, Jay, and Cody, each selected for their unparalleled talent and infectious energy. Here's a glimpse into the sonic journey crafted by Adam and Matt—a testament to the indomitable spirit of Columbus' DJ community.
