Born and raised in Northern Kentucky right outside of the Cincinnati area, DJ Flair LITTERALLY was
born to be involved with music. His half sister had already become an avid piano player, and by the
time DJ Flair was old enough to sit up straight, he was already banging on the pots and pans in his
parents kitchen. His first real musical instrument was a saxophone in 6th grade, and ever since DJ
Flair was hooked!
With the creation of Napster in the late 90′s, DJ Flair’s passion for music sky rocketed while in
college, and the exposure he experienced as a varsity athlete enabled him to start “making mix
tapes” for large parties on a regular basis.
Rarely was DJ Flair at a party where he wasn’t asked in advance to “burn us a few mixed cd’s
because you know music!” It was at this same college, Ohio State University, where he landed his
first residency at a campus bar known as “Ledo’s Lounge” – a local favorite that has been around
for more than 50 years.

Using nothing more than a complete desktop computer (keyboard, large screen and all!), DJ Flair honed his skills, taught himself the basic concepts of being a dj such as beat
matching, pitch control and setting loops and queue points and eventually became so knowledgeable, it wasn’t long before other Columbus clubs and bars came knocking at his
door.
Throughout the years DJ Flair has been a constant in the Columbus scene, as he continues to evolve his style and skill set. Currently he is a resident DJ for The Big Bar and it's
sister location The Little Bar on the campus of The Ohio State University, and the headline act for The QFM96 Crank Up Parties – the largest college football tailgate party held in the
Midwest – which has been going on for more than 50 years at the world famous
Varsity Club (www.myvarsityclub.com). Each Ohio State football game, DJ Flair enjoys the luxury of entertaining thousands of football fans starving for great music, good food,
cheap beer and drinks and BUCKEYE FOOTBALL! He has even been invited to play at the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl events!
