Born and raised in Northern Kentucky right
outside of the Cincinnati area, DJ Flair
LITTERALLY was born to be involved with
music. His half sister had already become an
avid piano player, and by the time DJ Flair was
old enough to sit up straight, he was already
banging on the pots and pans in his parents
kitchen. His first real musical instrument was a
saxophone in 6th grade, and ever since DJ
Flair was hooked!
With the creation of Napster in the late 90′s, DJ
Flair’s passion for music sky rocketed while in
college, and the exposure he experienced as a
varsity athlete enabled him to start “making mix
tapes” for large parties on a regular basis.
Rarely was DJ Flair at a party where he wasn’t
asked in advance to “burn us a few mixed cd’s
because you know music!” It was at this same
college, Ohio State University, where he
landed his first residency at a campus bar
known as “Ledo’s Lounge” – a local favorite
that has been around for more than 50 years.
